They haven't got their own gym but they are moving to a sports centre. TBH I thought they would of had their own place by now considering they are like planet sized and it is not like they are cheap. Also wondering if they are going to add more teams now......

if they bought their own place they would have to pay their staff less and we all know Dave wouldn't accept anything lower than he already receives.

@post2 Wow, not a fan of Dave then! Get the feeling that happens a lot. I can't imagine they get paid that much, do they? I know they do a lot of outside stuff like training and judging....

hes on a figure close to 50K.

Their 2016 turnover was just under 250k. (the last time they submitted their full accounts) Thats just for the cheerleading coaching side of the business. Their merchandise ect are through a separate company.

I think it’s awesome, regardless of if it’s in a sports centre! And if Dave is on 50k plus good on him most people in cheer only dream of that wage

@post2, and why should he accept anything less than he receives? If my company decided to move I would not want to take a paycut!

All the big programs are making a small fortune and they work hard for it so why not have a good salary!

Who cares where it is, sounds incredible! It might be that they can’t find a place of their own and get the right permits for the building- that’s what we are struggling with. No where big enough will allow D2 use, it’s sooooo frustrating!!!
If they can afford it, why shouldn’t Dave get paid that much, he works hard for that! Living the dream...ah, one day!

@post1, I wonder how many of the "own gyms" are actually rented properties and not outright owned.i would still class it as their "own" gym like I would class a shop as someone's "own" shop. It is amazing that they have got this facility and is a lot better than pulling out mats every training in a school hall like many of us do.

Saw Tori addressed the questions in this thread in an Instagram post, so maybe she or somebody read this.

The real issue is that they’re not in it for the athletes. Obviously cheerleading is an expensive sport, especially at unity, but I’ve heard time and time again how that can’t lower prices because otherwise the coaches can’t pay their bills... the other thing is I know of many athletes over the years who haven’t had to pay fees just because they are coaches favourites. Something doesn’t add up

Dave barely wears Gucci he’s more an LV guy. They do care about us, we are a successful programme because of our coaches and I don’t know what dave Gets paid but I tell you that he works hard, is very creative and is so invested in us.

@post18, couldnt agree more. When athletes get injured at training, he is very sympathetic. He puts in a lot of work. He's st the gym almost, if not every day

The difference is you get your moneys worth with their fees and everything is accounted for so you know exactly what you’ll be paying for the whole season with no hidden or extra costs.they also break down all the payments so it’s easier to pay for in instalments which is great

@post16 Im with Unity and don't really care what staff are paid, work deserves to be paid but I would definitely have an issue with what @post16 said about certain athletes not paying fees and heard people say this before in the gym and that is not fair.

Daves in the gym everyday, he also teaches tumble privates which I’m sure brings in a lot of his money. He’s the back bone of the club.

At the end of the day, Jamfest messed up big time overall. Incorrect scoring, unfair scoring, wrong divisions you name it. Yes Ammo were “robbed”.. But yes ICE5 deserved GC and PP. But i do agree with Ammo deserving more than a 94 and AL. Questionable for anyone who has a real understandable knowledge in cheerleading...

@post99 I think @post87 might be right, I’m sure she was apart of galaxy for years and competed with them but also coached younger teams? That’s what I heard anyway.

@Post104, at worlds there are 12 areas you are scored in ellipse outscored ammo in 6 of those areas and ammo outscored ellipse. I don’t think people understand the worlds scoresheet is different to what is used at comps over here. Also saying ruby are at ammo standards, they were outscored by 2 other English teams at worlds.

@post102 actually bid winners generally go to teams that are going to represent the ep best. It’s not based on scores, as JAMfest states the bids will go to the 2 most deserving teams & as the posts above have stated the reasons that the all girl teams scored higher is because it’s easier to max out on All girl than co-Ed! Anyone with eyes that watched these teams this w.end would know the difference between a team that plays it safe & a team like Ammo that puts out a show which has the difficulty & American standard cheer routines that surely we all aspire to achieve! It’s not poor sportsmanship to be gutted for a team that puts out the performances like they do & not get the recognition for it! ! # JusticeforAmmo
