Ukca is very much entry level these days. New teams and athletes go but those that are more competitive don't

@post8 that’s like asking top 5 crisp flavours. Everyone is going to have different opinions.

For example top of list would be icc, Jamfest, bca, legacy and then Fc (we had an awful experience with them and won’t be going back)

Every ep has good and bad points just like every team/programme coach and athlete expects something different from a comp/experience.

Loved Jamfest for the energy and standard of teams alone 100% worth the trip
Legacy I find really friendly and well run but much smaller categories no one really wants to win the section by being the only 1 in it!
Future cheer is good especially the bigger ones great atmosphere good vibe and good teams
BCA is ok
ICC personally for me I don’t enjoy this comp I hated my experience at Guildford Nottingham comp was good but overall I just don’t enjoy it (personal preference)

Obviously people don’t understand different types of cheerleading everyone above is talking about Allstar Cheerleading but believe it or not there’s people who don’t want to do Allstar and want to do traditional cheerleading with Chants and more traditional high school style parts and there’s nothing wrong with it . If people didn’t go then it wouldn’t be running and there is plenty of teams that go and the kids love it.

Hi ,

In previous years the rules on how many athletes you can change from your original bid winner roster has been slim . Has anyone had clarification how much this can change now ? We won our summit bid in 2019 and majority of our team has left or aged out of the division , does anyone know where I stand with this ? I would like to still take a team over but it would be more or less all different to the team who won the bid ? I haven’t had much luck with email reply’s .

Thank you

Teams who have done this deserve to be stripped of their title their is an age grid for a reason to allow fairness throughout

Personal opinion as an outsider

- comments about whether people are disabled are not are dumb. Just because you can’t see things does absolutely not mean they aren’t there. Do you expect for disabled athletes to stick a note to their forehead saying “I have xyz” to appease all the people questioning their disabilities? That is so damaging so I hope people learn not to do that.
- should’ve been set up at ground routes but certain individuals just wanted to use it as a way to be in the limelight in the first place. Due to it not being ground routes comps don’t know how to mark routines etc as they’ve not got guidance.
- pretty sure athletes only got on because they demanded it, and disabled people did care about the safety in the team. I’ve not seen anyone say that before.

If paracheer had have been started at ground routes and not at worlds then there would be no problems with people and coaches wanting to be there for a quick win at worlds. Athletes would have to work on skills from the ground up and then when it went to worlds the team would have more disabled people.
It’s easy to see who set the whole thing up and that shows in all the way it worlds that it’s just been done to suite them- not for disabled people.
The reputation of that person is well known and its for a good reason.
