Has anyone else had issues getting refunds from there clubs?

We are yet to see a penny with lots of excuses and I’m starting to loose trust.

Would love to here how everyone has got on incase varsity and the flight companies aren’t being very quick

Do you mean the comp entrance fee or the flight and accommodation etc?
We booked through Travel counsellors and they have been awful and refused to give refunds even though we are 99% sure they’ve had our money back.
Just wondering if your club hasn’t had the money back themselves.

No they had virgin flights and have been waiting for refunds for that and the rest of the trip.

She’s not going next year as the teams changed but I’ve not had a penny back.

My family holiday in March through virgin was cancelled and was refunded maybe 2 weeks ago, not the 8 weeks that virgin said it would be. Have you asked the coaches directly? Virgin may just be taking a long time.

Ok thanks for that.

No we have had one update a couple of months ago that we would get a refund but nothing since and I feel bad chasing them..

Wanted to see if anyone else hasn’t had it back but sounds like it might not of been refunded yet.

I’ve lost my job so every penny is important right now

Any decent programme will understand why you are chasing them for your money.

Are there any male main bases out there in the London area that fancy messing around with some high level stunts this coming Saturday? We already have a side base (me) and a flyer.

@post42.. the bic is limited by law to only 1000 max indoors so it doesn’t matter if they don’t have full teams. With the teams they do have the coaches and athletes alone will surpass that even with session

I haven’t seen a running order but I very much doubt they have more than 50% of the usual number of teams so everyone should be able to have the same amount of spectators as usual

WOW, I think we must have an example of every single stigma that our Para Athletes face right here in this thread. What you are all missing is that it is far from an easy journey to Worlds, it is perhaps a different journey to yours. Not just for the Athletes with conditions but the athletes who make up the rest of the team. As someone who has completed a PCI Workshop I can tell you that there are some very different skills needed by both sets of athletes, the most basic being empathy which seems to have eluded some of the contributors to this post. All the higher level cheer skills in the world can't hide an ugly soul, just remember that while you are slinging shit at other people and trying to lessen the value of their achievements. What happened to building eachother up?!

And before anyone says it, no I am not and have never been a Para Cheer Athlete. I want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy cheer.
