Is Ross serious? Does he think that he is above social distancing for the sake of a cheerleading competition? NO stunting is permitted.

I've just had a look at their insta. How do you know there were stunting? They might have done a non-building routine. Although they are too close together in the team shots

I had a look on their Instagram and noticed it was a Junior competition team. This means the athletes are most likely exempt from the covid regulations in place.

Junior - up to 16. 12-16 have to distance. Remind me the minimum age for an international team? Still no implementing social distancing clear as day in pictures. All teams trained outside, doesn’t make you above the rules.

Who’s fucking business anyway. You’ve literally seen a couple of pictures and assumed they’ve went against every rule in the book. If the kids aren’t aloud near each other at all then why are virtual comps going ahead?

Think people also forget how IP addresses work... Hamilton, I wonderrrrr who’s team you are from. If you have such a huge problem you should probably message the coach directly... your clearly not bothered about anything other than stirring shit up and making drama. Poor show

If you have genuine concerns either approach the team politely (you never know it could help your team find a safe, approved route to train) or raise it with the NGB/local council/similar authority who can investigate to ensure no one is at risk

I know some English teams were able to get permission from their local authorities to stunt months ago based on risk assessments they had submitted and restrictions/measures they had in place. I've not heard of anyone in Scotland with this but if they have amazing and please share the knowledge !!

The team seems to have adapted their way of training to work in line with the guidance to try maintain some normality in childrens lives during this unique time. Let’s all remember why we cheer at the end of the day. Going ‘above the law’ wouldn’t be worth it for teams.

FYI... Children aged 11 and under are permitted to play organised contact sport both indoors and outdoors. Providers must ensure they operate as per the guidance as set out above.

Young people (aged 12 and over) and adults are permitted to play organised contact sport outdoors only. In indoor facilities, only non-contact sport and activity is permitted. As above, all providers should ensure they operate as per the sportscotland guidance.

Not understanding the rules has clearly made you a very jealous person I can assure you rain are not the only team to have been working hard at keep its some normality for the children in these uncertain times, please do remember at the last Scottish comp there was “be kind” campaign perhaps some people should remember this!

There was a video of a stunt but it's gone, I only quickly flipped through them and didn't think anything off it as I assumed it was the same rules now as england and we can stunt. I'm sure I seen a girl pulling a stretch and then being carried around in a circle in that stretch position.
So Scotland can only stunt indoors with under 11s?
Yes we should all be kind but that does not mean turning a blind eye to breaking the rules.

So if your all that bothered why not actually report him/them to authorities rather than sitting behind an anonymous forum.
If your not gunna do anything but bitch then I say just carry on Ross and ignore these morons.

Wear masks, get back to stunting and crack on, if football and rugby can all continue with full contact and no masks then our sport can return to normal.
Supermarkets don’t even have strict policies upheld on social distancing anymore.

Y’all need to stop bitching and just get on with life!

I genuinely think people need to get a grip this post has bad 443 views and 18 comments (15 of them in support for the team - let the haters hate onwards and upwards and the best of luck to your new junior international team ross. If your athletes work has hard as you do for the cheerleading community they will smash the next season however that is going to look in these uncertain times.

No one knows the full story as an outsider, no one has considered the stunt may be videoed prior to covid. Instead of commenting here, the sensible thing that I would do is contact the coach.

The rules are so different here vs England so I think it will be a while. Big Nic is only implementing more and more restrictions so the hope of getting back to stunting and spotting tumbles is still a long way off in my opinion

I don’t think cheer will ever be the same again!!
If it is it will be a few years from now.. Just concentrate on your school work .. the cheer world could disappear unfortunately in all this Covid crap x but your career and your future should always be your main priority especially in these awful times

@post64 USASF have said it will either be virtual or in person. Which sounds to me like they aren't sure of the position with Disney either. Disneyworld still haven't opened half of their hotels up. They have reduced capacity in all parks. I'm struggling to imagine Disneyworld is forcing USASF to run their event right now. Its in Disney's interest to let this year slide again and not encourage thousands of teenagers onto Disney property.

Don't forget the contract of sale for entry fees is been between the EP and the Team/Uni for x number of athletes, not between the EP and each individual named athlete.

When you paid your entry fee you paid it to the Uni so your contract of sale is between yourself and the Team/Uni. Therefore you will need to speak with the Team/Uni to recover your funds not the EP.
