Should not be allowed to lie. They did not win a bid to summit for this year, and as those bids are being rolled over, they won’t have one for next year. Maybe they are talking about their bid to climb to the ‘summit’ of Ben Nevis? Should not be allow to take families money with false claims.

Of course they have a bid , why are you so interested anyway at post above ? If they want advertise for athletes to join their summit team so what ? You want to go just mail them !

Because bid winners are publicly announced by EP’s. They didn’t have a summit 2020 bid, and no 2021 bids have been given out (bids roll over).

They MIGHT be hoping to get a bid somewhere early next year for the same season. Think northern jam might still be giving them out?

Iv not heard this but it would make sense for jamfest northern to not give out bids for summit the following month as they have teams sent from that competition from this past season. If they want to give them out maybe give them for the next years so teams have time to save and actually go, I always felt these bids had been a bit of a waste as not many could actually use them.
There is a good chance there will be no worlds or summit in Florida again next year. Many teams can't train and by the looks of it won't be able to for a long time yet. Colleges are already cancelling there sports teams for the autumn term because they know it's not going to be able to go ahead. The country is in a mess just now and it's only going to get worse, I dont think they will recover in time

They have said on their latest post that they are the only Scottish team with a bid to go to summit in 20/21
