Everything about it winds me up. I don't get the name and I don't agree with the ambassador culture either. I have blocked it from my Daughter's social media accounts.

I agree with the @post2 I am not quite sure what it is about other than a page using young cheerleaders to sell merch, heard bad reviews though about the page and owners and where it originates. Not sure I would fancy my daughters doing it goodness knows who follow pages like that, very open to the public too!

Another parent told me that there are major safeguarding concerns on young girls live videos and group chat, under age girls being contacted by potential predators and very unprofessional but thats just one parents story, I have heard a few more. Scary stuff really with nobody not knowing much about it raises safeguarding concerns to me if im honest. Its not like your ‘I love Cheer’ etc whom parents may be familiar with.

Yes at least I Love Cheer you see them at comps so you know it's a real company. CIP seems to change who is responsible for it constantly in the UK. Different people say they are running the page etc. Is it just a company that are drop shipping goods from the USA then?

No clue do not understand the concept or purpose of it at all really, who knows where their questionable merch comes from, even if thats reputable! Kids could be giving their address out to anybody as their merchandise doesnt seem consistant or appropriate either. I would def avoid, too many people have stories about this brand.

Any reputable brand would deal with the parents of "ambassadors" especially with how young most of them look! If this brand is talking directly to children then they should be shut down.

Ran by a young girl, has more ambassadors than customers. Demands their ambassadors buy their products.

Sets up a new company and instagram page each month and immediately puts out looking for ambasadors

Had a few kids at our gym. who were ambassadors for it.

I agree the training should be split between the north & south of the country. If it’s a national team but all the training is down south no wonder they don’t get that much support or involvement from northern teams.

My unis rec team performed sideline at uni and sometimes professional basketball games and had a routine for half time (sort of a level 1/2 pom and cheer mix to make sure everyone could be involved safely). Juts a bit of something for everyone really, it depends on your athletes

I know a few university teams who have competitive teams, and then for those not wanting to compete they'll do sideline/match day cheer, slightly more recreational and you can teach all elements, pom/stunt/tumble without the stress of competitive routines etc.

Just wondering for rec teams, what sort of things do you do? Do you work towards a performance? Do you do sideline cheer, etc?
